Welcome to the International Shuriway Karate & Kobudo Society. I hope you find your visit to this website informative and interesting enough for you to return. My purpose for building this website has been to help martial artists, newcommers and current practioners find information and material of interest, not just Karate and Kobudo. I know myself when searching the internet for martial arts websites you would like to have just a bit more information than just when and where the Dojo opens and how long the instructor has been training. Hopefully you will find subject matter that is of some interest to you. There is much more to Karate than mere sport, fighting or competition. I sincerely believe that Karate is a life long study, ultimately learning about oneself through the rigours of constant training, challenge, success and failures. Whether this is your ultimate aim of studying Karate, is of course personal choice. Karate can be many things to many people.
